British Rock was a big genre. It covered a lot of different rock styles and a lot of artists fell under the category of being british rock artist. British rock was basically as rock styles like glam rock and rock n roll. It was mostly bands who were in the British Rock category but there were a few soloists. David Bowie and Elton John are examples of soloists who were in this style. But they also fit into a lot of other categories.
